Aodo Denzen

1748～1822
He was born in Sukagawa in Osyu. (Now Fukushima prefecture). He was selected as tech worker and ordered acquisition of chalcography by the local lord, Sadanobu Matsudaira(松平定信). He produced the word map called “Shinteibannkokuzennzu”. (新訂万国全図) and anatomical drawing. Also, he did calico by using copperplate and painting in oil.
