Kano Akinobu
1765~1826
He was a Kano school painter. He succeeded “Saruyachodaichi Kano Family” (猿屋町代地狩野家) from Jyuseki (寿石賢信). He retired at the young age of 36. He liked to go to Hhanamachi (花街:fleshpot) and there are his pupils in Yoshiwara (吉原: the name of prostitution area). He is known to draw paintings like Ukiyo-e (浮世絵:pictures of the floating world) not only paintings in Kano-school style.
