Sesson Shuukei

1504？～1589
He was a painter.　He produced many works, including portrait, Buddhist painting, Indian ink painting while traveling Kanto (関東) and Tohoku (東北) area. He absorbed the style of Sogen-ga (宋元画: ancient Chinese painting) and Sessyu (雪舟). His works are unique and conspicuous.
