Kitao Sigemasa
1739～1820
He was an Ukiyo-e (浮世絵: pictures of the floating world) artist. He painted pictures of prostitutes and Geisya. His bijin-ga (美人画: picture of beautiful women) had an influence on Kiyonaga Toreii (鳥居清長). Shigemasa produced a lot of excellent pupils.
