Sen Sotan
1578〜1658
He was a tea master, the eldest son of Syoan Senno (千少庵:the adopted son Rikyu Senno).
He became “Kassiki/Katsujiki” (喝食:meal announcer at a Zen monastery) at Daitoku-ji temple when he was young. In 1594, he returned to secular life and succeeded to his father’s estate.
