Koun Soryu

He was a Zen monk born in Kyoto. His father was the famous tea master, Ensyu Kohori (小堀遠州). He became a monk and stuied under Sogan Kogetsu (江月宗玩) in Daitoku-ji temple. Then he lived in Koho-an (孤蓬庵) e became the 185th head monk od Daitoku-ji temple.
