Hashiguchi Goyo

1880〜1921
He was a printmaker born in Kagoshima pref. He studied painting under Gaho Hashimoto(橋本雅邦), then he studied by himself and produced print arts. His works were popular and used as binding of some famous authors. One of the authors is Soseki Natsume(夏目漱石). In these days, his works are highly praised.
