Kato Bunre

1706〜1782
He was a vassal of shogun, Japanese-style painter. He studied under Chikanobu Kano (狩野周信) and drew landscape painting and Kacho-ga (花鳥画: flower and bird painting) mainly. He was famous for the first teacher of Buncho Tani (谷文晁).
