Kuroda Ryozan

1755～1814
He was a painter born in Kagawa pref. At first, he studied the brushwork of Kano-school. Then he studied under Gogaku Fukuhara (福原五岳). Also, Ryozan strongly influenced by the Chinese painter, 銭貢. After Ryozan traveled around Japan, he settled down in Kurashiki, Okayama pref.
