Uragami Syunkin
1779~1846
He was a painter, the son of Gyokudo Uragami (浦上玉堂). Syunkin traveled around Japan and settled in Kyoto the same as his father. Syunkin had interacts with many painters including Chikuden Tanomura (田能村竹田). He painted mainly Kacho-ga (花鳥画: picture of flowers and birds) and landscape painting. His works were more highly regarded than his father’s at that time.
