Konoe Nobutada
1565〜1614
He was a courtier from the Momoyama era to Edo era. He was good at various accomplishments including waka-poem, tea ceremony. Especially, he exceled in calligraphy. He studied the style of traditional Shorenin-school (青蓮院派). He was regarded as one of the three greatest calligraphers in Kanei era along with Koetsu Honami (本阿弥光悦) and Syokado Syojo (松花堂昭乗).
