Tachihara Suiken

1744〜1823

He was a Confucian born in Ibaraki pref. He studied under Yuzi Ouchi (大内熊耳) and Heisyu Hosoi(細井平洲). He put effort into editing of “大日本史” (Dainihonshi: Japanese history). His son was a famous painter, Kyosyo Tachihara (立原杏所).
