Shido Bunan

1603～1676
He was a　Zen monk　born in Gifu pref. He wrote much poetry and prose. He became a monk late in life. He didn’t want to live in temple, so he lived in the hermitage called “Shido-an” (至道庵). He preached about the real priest.
