Hosokawa Rinkoku

1779～1843
He was born in Kagawa pref.　He studied engraving under Ryozan Abe (阿部良山) since his youth. When he was in the prime of manhood, he went to Edo (Tokyo) and gained success as an engraver. Also, he studied poetry from Sikkoku Goto (後藤漆谷) and painting from Chikuseki Nagamachi (長町竹石).
