Ito Shinsui

1898～1972
He was a Japanese-style painter. He was impressed by the painter, Gyosyu Hayami (速水御舟) and decided to be a painter. He studied painting under Kiyokata Kaburagi (鏑木清方). He painted many Bijin-ga (美人画: the picture of beautiful women ) and had influence on many people.
