Azuma Toyo
1755~1839
He was a painter born in Miyagi, the eldest son of a painter, Gennpou Iwabuchi(岩淵元方). He went to Edo (now Tokyo) when he was 18. Then he went to Kyoto in his twenties. In early thirties, he went to Nagasaki. He was based in Kyoto and active in many places. He was known for a master of painting of deer.
