Okada Hanko
1782~1846
He was a painter. He studied painting under his father, Beisanjin Okada (岡田米山人). He served the Todo domain as a subordinate. Around 1834, he transferred the family business to his young son and retired his job. In 1837, his best friend, caused the Revolt of Oshio Heihachiro. Hanko moved to Hyogo to avoid involving the revolt. His works has been highly regarded.
