40,5cm×64,5cm
Artist
1730~1781
He was a painter born in Kyoto. He studied Keiho Takada (高田敬輔)‘s eccentric style of painting. Shohaku’s works are eccentric and bold. His representative work is “Gunsenzu-byobu” (群仙図屏風). We can feel his individuality intensely from this work. Not only these outrageous works, his delicate works like “Tsukiyosansaizu-byobu” (月夜山水図屏風) are amazing.
