He was a painter born in Fukuoka pref. First, He studied the art of Kano-school (狩野派) . Then he went to Kyoto and studied Sizyo-school (四条派)福岡に生まれる。His works are based on Nan-ga (南画:the South school of Chinese painting). He established his own style based on Nan-ga (南画: the South school of Chinese painting).Also, he studied Buddhist painting.
