Ohara Donshu

He was a painter, the son of a painter, Donkyo Ohara (大原呑響). Donsyu studied painting under Shijo-school painter. Gido Shibata (柴田義董).　He was active in Kyoto and exhibited his works in calligraphy exhibition. There is his name in “Heian Jinbutsuhi” (平安人物史志: the list of notables in Heian era) published in 1852.
