Aoki Daijyo

1891〜1979
He was a Japanese-style painter born in Osaka. At first, he was active as a Western-style painter, later he switched to Japanese-style. He founded Dainichi Bijyutuin (大日美術院:art institute) with Somei Yuki(結城素明) and Syoko Kawasaki (川崎小虎).
