Okubo Shibutsu

1767〜1837
He was a Chinese poet born in Ibaraki. He studied Chinese poem under Hokuzan Yamamoto (山本北山) and Kansai ichikawa (市河寛斎) at Edo (now Tokyo). Shibutsu founded the poetry club, 二痩詩with Nyotei Kashiwabi (柏木如亭). Shibutsu was regarded as one of the best 4 poets in Edo.
