Ekkei Shuken

He was a Zen monk born in Fukui. He became a monk at the age of 10. He moved to Myoshin-ji temple (妙心寺) from Sokoku-jitemple (相国寺)and founded practice hall. He succeeded the teaching of Zenrai Gisa (儀山善来).
