Gocho Kankai

1749〜1835
He was a monk of Tendai-sect (天台宗). He became a monk when he was 7.He did ascetic training at Reiken-ji temple (霊験寺). He went to Enryaku-ji temple (延暦寺)　at the age 16 and he became a high priest. He built Buddhist stupa at Bansho-ji temple (萬松寺) in 1818.
