Nakajima Soin

1779〜1855
He was a Confucian born in Kyoto. He studied Japanese classical literature under Koukei Bankei (伴蒿蹊) and poetry under Koutei Murase (村瀬栲亭). He didn’t work all his life. He was known as Suizin (粋人:a person with refined tastes).
