Katayama Hokkai

1723〜1790
He was a Confucian and composer of Chinese poem born in Niigata pref. He went to Kyoto and studied under Meika Uno (宇野明霞). Then he moved to Osaka and established the association of Chinese poem, “Konton-sya”（混沌者. He became a key person of Osaka Parnassus.
