Hidaka Tetsuo

1791〜1871
He was a monk of Zen-sect (禅宗) born in Nagasaki. He studied painting under Yushi Ishizaki (石崎融思) and Kaho Koh (江稼圃). He was known for the three great painters in Nagasaki pref. [others are Gomon Miura (三浦梧門) and Itsuun Kinoshita (木下逸雲)]
