Suzuki Nanrei

1775〜1844
He was a Japnese-style painter born in Edo (now Tokyo). He studied painting under Nangaku Watanabe (渡辺南岳). Nanrei was good at portrait and Kacho-ga (花鳥画: flower and bird painting). Also, he was a master of a painter, Zeshin Shibata (柴田是真).
