Kawasaki Ranko

1882〜1918
He was a Japanese-style painter born in Ehime pref. He studied painting under Hobun Kikuchi (菊池芳文) and Kogyo Terasaki (寺崎広業). He specialized in Bijin-ga (美人画: the picture of beautiful women). He died at the tender age of 37.
