Nantenbo

1839〜1925
He was a monk of Rinzai-sect (臨済宗) born in Nagasaki pref. He always carried a stick of Nanten (南天: Nandina domestica). He brandished the stick to the half-hearted people and frightened them. He drew the graphical paintings.
