Matsuoka Eikyu

1881～1938
He was a Japanese-style painter from Hyogo. He graduated from the Tokyo School of Fine Arts(東京美術学校) with a first-class honors degree. He was active in Bunten exhibition (文展: the annual art exhibition sponsored by the Ministry of Education).
