Kano Yasunobu

1616～1685
He was a Kano school painter, the 3rd son of Takanobu Kano (狩野孝信). Takanobu died when Yasunbu was 6, so he studied painting under his brother, Tanyu Kano(狩野探幽) and Koi Kano (狩野興以) . Yasunobu was not a good painter compered to his brothers, but he was active in the establishment of Kano school painting theory.
