Oda Sitsusitsu

1779～1832
She was a painter. She had no brothers so accepted a son-in-low into the family and lived in Kyoto. She studied painting under Roko Mikuma(三熊露香). Shitsushitsu’s husband died early so she remarry Ishii Nobuaki (石居信章) and blessed with a son, Teiitsu (貞逸). However, her father died in 1804 and her husband died in 1813. It is seemed she returned to her hometown at the time. She became a nun when her son became an adult. She painted the picture of cherry blossom.
